Britney Spears is apparently doing anything she can to avoid the escalating drama encompassing her life right now – including spontaneous dance sessions!

As her family battles over her future in court, Britney, 37, busted out some dance moves before accompanying boyfriend Sam Asghari to the Daytime Beauty Awards in Hollywood on Friday, September 20.

“Going to #daytimebeautyawards with my man but had to dance before going,” she posted on Instagram. “PS I felt beautiful !!!”

The accompanying fast-forwarded video showed the former blonde bombshell spinning and whipping her new brunette hair around in the tiny black dress she would later wear to the awards show.

As RadarOnline.com has been reporting, Britney’s parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, faced off in court earlier this week over her conservatorship. Jamie had been in charge of his daughter’s financial future, but recently resigned from his position of more than a decade after suffering health problems.

He was also accused of attacking Britney’s son, Sean Preston, by the boy’s father, Kevin Federline.

Although no criminal charges were filed against Jamie, Federline was granted a temporary restraining order following the August 24 incident, and the grandfather is forbidden from seeing Sean Preston or Britney’s other son, Jayden James, for three years.

Meanwhile, Jamie asked that Jodie Montgomery be made the temporary conservator of his daughter until January 20, 2020. Montgomery was granted the position after a hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, Sept. 9.

Montgomery is an experienced fiduciary who has worked with the troubled singer for more than a year. She now has the power to do everything from filing restraining orders to making mental health decisions on Britney’s behalf.
