The honeymoon is over for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
As RadarOnline.com has learned, the Duchess and Duke of Sussex have already begun feeling the strains of married life, a little over a year after saying “I do.”
“At first the sheer excitement and awe of being part of the most famous family in the world is amazing. Every time you turn a corner you see another amazing person or building that isn’t just famous but is also historic,” sources told Straight Shuter. “It is like falling in-love in the mansion of the Bachelor, far away from your daily worries of real life. But soon reality kicks in and it isn’t quite as exciting. That is where Meghan and Harry are now.”
In his podcast, “Straight Shuter: Naughty But Nice,” Rob Shuter gives more details about the former Suits actress’ trouble in paradise.
“After the initial excitement rubbed off Meghan has found herself mostly alone, stuck behind the Palace walls. It is incredibly isolating to be part of this family,” the sources said. “They don’t leave the house very much and don’t allow many outsiders inside the family.”
Though Harry, 34, was initially so smitten with Meghan, 38, that he put nearly everything — royal traditions included — aside to succumb to her every wish, that part of their relationship is over. Meghan has been deemed a “diva” by palace insiders and has spent much of her time as a royal feuding with her father, her estranged siblings, Kate Middleton, and even Prince William.
This May, she and Harry welcomed their first child, son Archie, and yet their life together is still far from perfect.
“The honeymoon is 100% over,” added the insiders. “It might look like a great life to all of us, but in reality it’s like being in golden handcuffs.”
