Hollywood Ripper Michael Gargiulo – the man found guilty of murdering two women, including Ashton Kutcher’s ex-girlfriend – has been leading a secret prison romance with a woman claiming to be his wife, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.

Amber Touchton, who lives on the opposite side of the country from the California prisoner, claimed in an interview with RadarOnline.com that she has been involved in a romantic relationship with the convicted killer for years while he’s been behind bars.

“Michael is my husband!” Touchton claimed to RadarOnline.com. “It’s been a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love.”

As RadarOnline.com readers know, prosecutors are now seeking the death penalty for the 43-year-old after he was found guilty on August 15 of murdering two women in California, and attempting to kill a third.

Gargiulo, an Illinois native, was arrested back in 2008 and has been sitting behind bars ever since.

Touchton revealed to RadarOnline.com she will continue to stand by his side and proclaim to the world that he is innocent.

“Michael’s amazing,” Touchton told RadarOnline.com on Tuesday, August 20, adding that the convicted killer is “nothing like the world is trying to portray him as.”

“He’s fun and exciting and loyal and honest and extremely devoted,” she said. “He really is innocent.”

As RadarOnline.com reported, Kutcher, 41, took the stand in Gargiulo’s trial back in May after describing what he saw at his ex Ashley Ellerin’s house the night she was murdered in 2001.

The Two and a Half Men actor testified that he noticed “red wine spilled on the carpet” as he peered through a window. The wine was later determined in the trial to have been Ellerin’s blood. Kutcher’s 22-year-old ex was stabbed to death 47 times.

Gargiulo was also found guilty of murderering 32-year-old Maria Bruno years ago, and attempting to kill a woman named Michelle Murphy, then 26, who made it out alive.

Touchton claimed that she and Gargiulo are legally married – although a source close to the killer’s investigation in California claimed otherwise.

“Michael was trying to arrange a marriage, however his fiancée was unable to fulfill the legal requirements, which are somewhat cumbersome,” the source revealed.

Gargiulo was previously married to another woman before his 2008 arrest. However, she divorced him in 2009.

RadarOnline.com obtained a copy of a marriage permission request Touchton filed through the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department on June 9. She also claimed she visited Gargiulo in jail as recently as last month.

SEE THE SHOCKING MARRIAGE REQUEST

Touchton claimed to RadarOnline.com that she communicates with Gargiulo in letters and the two have “many” nicknames for one another. The murderer often refers to Touchton as his “infinite stellar empress,” she claimed.

“He’s my king and I’m his Queen,” she added. “We are lucky. We have a world together all of our own.”

According to Gargiulo’s alleged lover, the two have a relationship “that would make The Notebook look foolish!”

Despite the horrific crimes he has been convicted of, Touchton believes her “husband” has been wrongly accused.

“It’s a shame for such a beautiful soul like his to be forced to stand time for crimes he didn’t commit. It breaks my heart,” she said.

Gargiulo is also awaiting a separate trial in Chicago once the Los Angeles prosecutors wrap up its current “sanity phase,” which involves presenting evidence for his punishment.

Touchton shared with RadarOnline.com that she will continue to stand by her locked-up lover.

“The law isn’t always right,” she claimed.
