Here To Stay: RHOC Star Gina Kirschenheiter Determined To Remain In OC — And On TV!

Gina Kirschenheiter has decided to hold on to her orange rather than head back home to the Big Apple.
RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Gina, 35 — who was freaking out over finances after her ex-husband Matt was "let go" from his job following his domestic violence arrest — is determined to do "whatever it takes" to raise her kids in Orange County, California.
"Gina is empowered right now and if she has to raise these kids on her own, that is what she is going to do," a source close to The Real Housewives of Orange County star said.
As fans know, Gina's life was flipped upside down on June 22 when her on-again husband allegedly attacked her. According to the temporary restraining order request obtained by Radar, Matt, 35, hit, choked, dragged and threatened to "kill" his wife after an argument.
When Matt lost his lucrative job in the aftermath, Gina was faced with uncertainty surrounding her career and ability to raise the former couple's kids Nicolas, 7, Sienna, 5, and Luca, 4, as a single mom.
However, it seems that the uncertainty is gone, as the insider told Radar, "Gina realized that she is not doing this on her own. She has amazing friends and family."
She also has a coveted position as one of the Real Housewives of Orange County, of course — and a source said the bubbly blonde will likely be here to stay after the explosive upcoming season.
"She loves being on TV, and the producers of RHOC love her," the source said. "There are no plans for her to be kicked off the show after this upcoming season."
