As RadarOnline.com reported, five months after the couple — who have been dating for two years — first met, they secretly eloped in Paris during a romantic getaway and “didn’t tell a single soul” about it.
However, complications over a marriage license required the two officially get married in the United States, and now, amid their search for a new home in Los Angeles, the lovebirds are finally ready to take that step.
“Mac has never felt so happy, secure, and, well, normal," a source told RadarOnline.com. "He credits Brenda with that.
"They’ve managed to create a stable home environment and Macaulay loves it," continued the source, noting before Culkin, 37, met 31-year-old Song, the Home Alone actor, who was married to actress Rachel Miner until 2002 and then in a relationship with Mila Kunis for eight years, "never wanted to get hitched again."
"But Brenda has changed him in a way he never knew possible, and she’s become the family he’s always craved," said the source.
