The cause of death for Toni Braxton’s niece has been revealed, RadarOnline.com can report.

The Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore, Maryland confirmed to RadarOnline.com that Lauren Braxton died of “heroin and fentanyl intoxication.”

An autopsy report also resulted in Lauren’s manner of death as “undetermined.”

As RadarOnline.com reported, Lauren died at the age of 24 on Monday, April 29 in Maryland. The young woman was known to family and friends by the nickname “Lolo.”

E! News was the first to report Lauren’s cause of death.

Lauren was the daughter Toni’s brother, Michael Conrad Braxton Jr., who grew up in Maryland. Toni was in attendance of the Tobago Jazz Festival in Trinidad and Tobago at the time of Lauren’s death.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Toni, 51, was hospitalized in 2016 due to her ongoing battle with lupus. The singer was forced to cancel three shows as she faced kidney failure.

On May 1, Toni made a touching tribute to her late niece on Instagram.

“R.I.P. to my amazing niece Lauren “Lo Lo” Braxton…I’m still in disbelief and so very heartbroken Love you…always auntie “Te Te,” she captioned a photo of the two.
