Big Cover-Up! Duggars Hired Lawyers, Set Up Josh With Anna After Molestation Horror

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar desperately tried to cover up disgraced son Josh's molestation scandal years ago, a church witness exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com.
The shameful parents appeared "sad" in the early 2000s once Josh's horrific misdeeds of watching porn and touching five minor females in the Duggar home came out in their family church, a former church member who wishes to remain anonymous told RadarOnline.com.
But that didn't stop the family from doing whatever they could to divert attention away from their oldest son, who as RadarOnline.com readers know, years later admitted to a porn addiction and cheating on his wife, Anna. Their first step was seeking out lawyers who would keep Josh's inappropriate acts hidden.
"Older men within the church immediately jumped in to help Jim Bob hide everything as much as possible. They all tried to hire lawyers to keep Josh's touching of younger girls under wraps," the ex church member told RadarOnline.com.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, in 2015 In Touch Weekly published police documents showing Josh inappropriately touched five minors, four of which were his sisters, in the early 2000s.
The source told RadarOnline.com that Michelle and Jim Bob desperately tried to "make sure no one ever heard about this." The Duggars' family church, which formerly operated within their home in the 2000s, were told to keep quiet.
What's more is Josh was paired with his now-wife Anna shortly after. The church member witnessed the couple's early relationship, adding that Anna seemed to have been slightly made aware of Josh's wrongdoings.
"Josh and Anna's relationship seemed pretty controlled and arranged," the source said. "Michelle and Jim Bob thought a relationship would solve some of his problems. That was common in our church."
The source was present for a party the Duggars threw in celebration of Josh and Anna's courtship. There, Jim Bob referenced Josh's "mistakes."
"Jim Bob talked about all that Josh had been through and that he became a strong, young man of God," the source said. "Anna was nodding along of course, but I don't think she knew the extent of it."
The source told RadarOnline.com that it appeared Anna was aware Josh did something wrong, but not necessarily that he touched his own siblings.
"I think when Anna first met Josh she was very much under the impression that he was a strong, young man who hadn't done anything bad in a while," said the ex church member. "But he was still shady when he was courting Anna."
One example of Josh's alleged shadiness included that he would not allow other kids to touch his cell phone, the source claimed.
"Josh got super anxious once when someone tried to grab his phone and pretend to make a call. He was very upset," the insider added.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Josh and Anna have since moved past the tumultuous scandals. The couple is now expecting their sixth child together.
