Wendy Williams is finding temporary happiness again by shopping her broken heart away after ending her marriage with Kevin Hunter, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned the new habit is putting a major dent in her wallet!
“Wendy is going through a hard time and shopping is the one thing that takes her mind off the divorce and all the horrible stuff,” a source revealed.
However, the insider noted that the talk show host “is dropping an absolute fortune” in the process since Williams, 54, stocks up on anything and everything that catches her eye.
“She buys only designer label clothes and all the accessories like they’re going out of style,” revealed the source, noting, “She doesn’t need more shoes but her closets are stacked with new shoeboxes.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Williams had relapsed and been struggling with her addiction demons in the days leading up to the split with her husband. Now shopping seems to have become her favorite high.
"It comforts her and people reason it’s healthier than what she was doing before, so at least it’s keeping her sane and sober,” said the source.
