It took eight days, but finally, Prince William and Kate Middleton have met their newest nephew!
As RadarOnline.com has learned, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Frogmore Cottage this Tuesday, May 14, to greet baby Archie Harrison who was born this May 6.
Various outlets reported Kate, 37, and William, 36, were preoccupied with their royal duties on the days following baby Sussex’s birth, but were able to make time to meet him on Tuesday afternoon. In the morning, Kate visited a secret WWII spy base in Bletchley Park, and Harry, 34, visited young patients at the Oxford Children’s Hospital.
On the day of Archie’s birth, readers recall Kate and Williams took 10 hours to congratulate the new parents. Fans quickly too this as yet another sign of their ongoing feud – which stemmed from Kate and William’s distaste of Meghan’s Hollywood “diva” ways.
Despite it all, Kate and William are not the last of the royals to meet Archie.
Though the 8-day-old has already met great grandparents Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, he’s yet to meet grandfather Prince Charles. He and Camilla have been traveling and said they are excited to see him when they return this Thursday, May 16.
Archie has also met Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, though she is the only member of the former actress’ family who’s been welcomed into the royal circle. A source told RadarOnline.com that Meghan’s estranged dad, Thomas Markle, is “heartbroken” by the fact that he still hasn’t heard from his famous daughter and will likely never meet his grandson.
