The man responsible for the sexual assault and provision of drugs to a 13 year old Massachusetts girl was arrested shortly after she dropped her off to the hospital where she died.

According to a statement by Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett

Rivera dropped Chloe Richard off to the ER of Lawrence General Hospital at 4:47 pm "with no pulse, no nothing."

"She didn't even have a pulse when they pushed her out of the car,"stepfather Brian Dolan told Boston 25 News. "If that was your kid, if that was your sister, if that was your brother, or your mother, or your father, what would you do? I'm beside myself."

Richard was later pronounced dead. Authorities say she went into cardiac arrest, but the cause of death is still unknown. An autopsy was carried out on Tuesday but the results will not be released for some time.

Richard's mother, Deborah Goldsmith-Dolan last saw her daughter when she was dropped off at a friend's house on Sunday afternoon. She contacted her friends when she didn't return that night, but was told she was fine.

A GoFundMe page, which has already surpassed the family's goal of $10, 500, has been set to help fund the cost of Chloe's funeral.
