Michael Jackson's Chimp Bubbles Can't Stand Being Reminded Of Star

Is Michael Jackson's famous chimp, Bubbles, holding a grudge against his late master?
According to the Daily Star Sunday, the dead King of Pop's former pet can't bear to be reminded of Jackson!
Bubbles is still hanging in there after the star's shocking death in 2009 at age 50.
The famed chimp is now 35 years old and has lived at the Centre for Great Apes in Wauchula, Florida since 2005.
But staff at the animal sanctuary reportedly won't even show him photos of Jackson in case it upsets him.
The chimp shares an enclosure with four adult females and three other males and feeds on figs, fruit and nuts, but the keepers avoid any reminders of his old life on Jackson's Neverland Ranch.
Centre co-founder Patti Ragan said workers never show Bubbles photos of Jackson in case they make him "angry or depressed."
As RadarOnline.com recently reported, according to The Times of India,the chimp allegedly tried to kill himself in 2003 after Jackson was charged with child molestation.
The publication said Bubbles had been moved off of Jackson's Neverland ranch earlier that year amid fears he could be a danger to his children Prince, Paris and Michael Jr.
After the superstar singer was charged (he was later acquitted of molestation), "his favorite pet, a chimpanzee named Bubbles tried to commit suicide," The Times of India stated, giving no further details.
Ragan has denied that Bubbles has tried to self-harm.

NME earlier reported allegations by famed primatologist Jane Goodall, 84, that Bubbles had been punched in the face and kicked in the stomach while he lived at Neverland.
"When he was with Michael he was being beaten," Goodall said, but she didn't claim that Jackson was himself responsible for the abuse.
Now, however, during the controversy over the scandalous HBO Jackson documentary Leaving Neverland, it's been claimed that Bubbles is being kept away from any Michael memories.
A spokesman for the Jackson family told the Daily Star, "We're happy to hear Bubbles is doing well. Michael absolutely loved him and would never, ever have mistreated him."
An animated movie about Bubbles is being planned, RadarOnline.com sources said early in 2019.
