Watch Out, James Packer! Mariah Carey Announces Explosive New Book

Mariah Carey is ready to spill the tea.

During her New York City concert on Monday, March 25, the "We Belong Together" singer made a bombshell announcement to her fans: she's writing a tell-all book.

The star had just finished belting out "Fantasy" when she paused to ask the crowd if they knew about her time in beauty school. Some cheered, others were confused by the question.

"Well, my book's coming out, you can read all about it!" she said.

Carey, 48, previously mentioned wanting to write a memoir on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen this November. However, there has not been a formal announcement from a publisher.

While Carey's new book could be the gift that keeps on giving to adoring fans, there is one person who should look out for what the stunner might reveal: her ex, James Packer.

The singer and the billionaire called it quits in 2016 after two years of dating and one dazzling engagement. Though the two were very open about their romance while it lasted, their breakup soon turned ugly, with Packer, 51, kicking Carey out of the home they shared and the star demanding he buy her a new L.A. mansion!

It didn't take long for the singer to sell her $10 million engagement ring in an effort to "move on" with her life. And move on she has, as RadarOnline.com readers know, the stunner is still going hot and heavy with backup dancer Bryan Tanaka.

In one of his last interviews about Carey, Packer admitted dating her was "a mistake," and he did so because he was "at a low point" in his life.
