At the time of their tumultuous split, the mother of four-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan had already planned their lavish wedding https://radaronline.com/celebrity-news/mariah-carey-james-packer-wedding-plans-details/, which was set to take place this month!

"Mariah had a really expensive wedding dress bought and she had already booked and paid for the venue," the source told RadarOnline.com.

"Not only that, but she moved her kids across the country to be with him and that was a huge inconvenience. She thinks he should buy her a new house back in L.A.," the friend added.

But surely the 35-carat $10 million diamond sparkler that Packer gave to Carey when he proposed would count for something, right? Wrong!

"Mariah said that there is no way that she is ever going to give that ring back and it does not count towards the $50 million he owes her, either," the insider said.

"She gave up an entire year of her life for him and, to Mariah, time is money!"
