Johnny Depp claims his ex-wife Amber Heard has a history of alleged domestic violence that proves he is innocent of battering the actress, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor says the actress beat her lesbian ex Tasya van Ree — and waged a nightmarish campaign of assault against him during their 15-month marriage.

Depp, 55, makes the claims as part of the $50 million defamation lawsuit he filed against his ex-wife after she accused him of being a wife-beater.

Depp says in a 40-page document lodged at the Circuit Court of Fairfax, Virginia: “Ms. Heard Was Not A Victim Of Domestic Violence: She Was A Perpetrator.

“Long before Ms. Heard became a self-described ‘public figure representing domestic abuse’ based on her false domestic violence allegations against Mr. Depp, Ms. Heard was in an abusive relationship," claim the court docs. "But Ms. Heard was not the victim in that relationship. She was the abuser.”

The court papers continue: “On September 14, 2009, police officers at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport witnessed Ms. Heard physically assault her then-domestic partner, Tasya van Ree.

“Ms. Heard grabbed Ms. van Ree by the arm, hit Ms. van Ree in the arm, and yanked Ms. van Ree’s necklace off her neck. Ms. Heard was arrested.

“She was booked for misdemeanor domestic violence, a mug shot was taken of her, and she spent the night in jail. The following day, the Seattle-based prosecutor declined to press charges against Ms. Heard, but only because both she and her domestic abuse victim were California residents who were merely passing through Washington state.”

Depp adds in his court claim: “Ms. Heard’s violent domestic abuse did not end when her relationship with Ms. van Ree ended.

“Ms. Heard committed multiple acts of domestic violence against Mr. Depp during their marriage. Ms. Heard’s physical abuse of Mr. Depp is documented by eyewitness accounts, photographs, and even Ms. Heard’s own admissions under oath.”

In the filing Depp claims Heard his finger by smashing it with a vodka bottle and lied about his alleged abuse of her when they were married.

Heard, 32, was arrested in 2009 for misdemeanor domestic violence against painter and photographer van Ree.

The actress’ mugshot was taken and she appeared in court the following day, but was not prosecuted.

But in 2016 van Ree, 42, spoke out in defense of Heard, saying the charge had been motivated by “homophobia”.

She said: “Amber is a brilliant, honest and beautiful woman and I have the utmost respect for her. We shared five wonderful years together and remain close to this day."

Heard once considered herself married to van Ree and changed her surname to match her photographer love’s second name.

On March in 2008 in California, the star legally changed her name to Amber Van Ree and stated the reason to do so as they were in a “domestic partnership”. She later changed her name back to Heard.

Depp is suing Heard for $50 million over her allegations he abused her when they were married, saying the claims ruined his career and reputation
