Paramedics rushed to the scene at Sunday night's Academy Awards after Rami Malek tumbled off of the stage and into the crowd, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The 37-year-old actor was photographed as he made a hard landing onto the ground as the star-studded ceremony wrapped. The actor's tumble occurred after he accepted the Best Actor award for his role in Bohemian Rhapsody.

Paramedics propped him upright in a chair in the front row before bringing him backstage to be treated in a more private setting, according to reports.

All the while, the actor clutched on to his shiny new gold statue.

This isn't the Bohemian Rhapsody star's first mishap during award season. The actor made headlines when he left out the Queen biopic's director Bryan Singer out of his Golden Globes acceptance speech.

Malek's tumble comes just months after close friends revealed to RadarOnline.com exclusively that fame had changed him into a "virtual chain-smoking recluse."

Still, he and girlfriend Lucy Boynton seemed to be in nothing but good spirits during the Feb. 24 awards show. The co-stars engaged in a steamy public display before the actor took the stage to accept his big win.

The actor reportedly did not suffer any major injuries and continued on in celebrations into Sunday evening. He was spotted in attendance of the Governors Ball afterparty.
