New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has been charged with soliciting a prostitute in a sex ring operation, police confirmed on Friday, February 22 to RadarOnline.com.
The 77-year-old football icon is named in an alleged human trafficking investigation conducted by multiple police agencies in Florida as well as Homeland Security and the IRS.
In a press conference held Friday, Feb. 22, Jupiter Police Chief Daniel Kerr reportedly said Kraft is charged with two counts of soliciting another to commit prostitution.
"The charges have been filed with the Palm Beach County State Attorney's office," Jupiter Police Department's public information officer told RadarOnline.com.
The Florida police official exclusively told RadarOnline.com the charges are a result of "an eight-month long investigation."
The alleged sex acts took place at Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, Florida. Workers were reportedly forced into supplying sex acts and body rub downs in exchange for money.
The NFL team's owner is accused of soliciting a prostitute on two separate occasions earlier this year.
A rep for Kraft told RadarOnline.com: “We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further.”
According to local reports, investigators found video evidence and bodily fluids within the business.
The human-trafficking ring reportedly extends to New York and even outside of the United States in China.
Tom Brady's team won Super Bowl LII this month. Kraft has gone on record praising Gisele Bundchen's husband's success, calling him the "greatest player of all time."
