Matthew Perry Says He Was ‘Kicked Out Of Therapy’ Amid Drug Addiction Battle

This Wednesday, February 6, the Friends actor scared fans with a concerning tweet about getting booted from therapy.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, the 49-year-old actor has struggled with addiction for years.
"I got kicked out of therapy today,” Perry tweeted, not explaining his crisis.
Worried fans quickly commented on the post, telling him how much they admired him and asking him if he was alright.
"Please feel better I hope you’re okay. You deserve love and happiness,” wrote one user.
“Reach out to someone who can give you immediate help, man. Let them help you get to a better therapist, a better way forward,” wrote another.
“You made me laugh when I was having rough times and always got me through it. You’re a brilliant, talented man and some day I believe you’ll see light in life,” commented a third.
RadarOnline.com readers know Perry has suffered various health crises in the past, some of them addiction-related.
Five months ago, he spent three months in the hospital after undergoing surgery for a ruptured bowel.
Years prior, in 1997, the funnyman experienced a brutal ski accident which left him pained and addicted to painkillers. That year, he entered rehab, and though he was clean for some time, he re-entered treatment in 2001.
He has been struggling with sobriety ever since.
