Charo's Husband Autopsy Complete: Kjell Rasten Died Of Gunshot To Head In Suicide

Charo's husband Kjell Rasten's autopsy has been completed — and the suffering 78-year-old died of a self-inflicted gunshot to the head, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
"The cause of death is a gunshot wound of head. The manner of death was certified as a suicide," Sarah Ardalani of the Los Angeles Medical Examiner's Office told RadarOnline.com.
Police also revealed new details to RadarOnline.com about the music manager's final moments.
Beverly Hills Police told RadarOnline.com exclusively that first responders "attempted life-saving measures" on Rasten before rushing him from home to the hospital on Monday, February 18.
"We transported the victim to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center," a spokesperson for the BHPD told RadarOnline.com. "Shortly after 1:00 p.m., the male succumbed to his injuries."
Charo's wife recently broke her silence on her beloved husband's suicide, claiming he took his own life after a battle with depression and an excruciating skin disease.

"That, along with the many medications he needed to take, became too much for him, and he ended his suffering,” Charo wrote in a statement obtained by RadarOnline.com.
According to reports, the Spanish singer, 68, was at the couple's home when he took his own life.
Charo and Rasten married in 1978, and share an adult son, Shel.
