Carrie Underwood said she "couldn’t be happier" after giving birth to her second son Jan. 21, but RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively her family and friends aren’t necessarily feeling the baby joy.
That’s because the 35-year-old has gone silent since Jacob Bryan Fisher was born nine days ago – and her disappearance has concerned even her parents, RadarOnline has learned exclusively.
"Family and friends are a bit worried because Carrie has gone totally M.I.A.," a source told Radar. exclusively.
"Friends have called, emailed, and sent gifts with no reply."
The country star last took to social media to announce the big news Jan. 23.
With her shutting out those closest to her, many have wondered if it’s more than nesting – and there’s a bigger issue.
"Everyone is worried that she may be suffering from postpartum depression," added the source.
"She hasn’t talked to her parents or seen them since having the baby either."
The country superstar, who’s married to former hockey player Mike Fisher, 38, are also parents to three -year-old Isaiah.
But it’s been a struggle for her to conceive with Underwood revealing last September that she had suffered three miscarriages in 2017.
The same year the American Idol alum also had a freak fall on the icy steps of her Nashville home that left her with a devastating injury to her face requiring more than 40 stitches.
