Jailed For Months! Ryan Edwards To Remain Behind Bars Until April For Heroin Charge

Troubled Teen Mom OG dad Ryan Edwards will remain behind bars until April, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

The Clerk of Court for Red Bank in Tennessee exclusively told RadarOnline.com that Edwards, 31, appeared in court on Monday, January 28 after he was arrested on heroin and theft charges earlier this month.

“The case has been continued to April 15, 2019,” the clerk told RadarOnline.com. “He’s going to serve time in county jail until then.”

RadarOnline.com broke that Edwards was arrested on January 23.

Public Relations Manager for Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office J. Matt Lea told RadarOnline.com that Edwards reported to Hamilton County Probation Office, where he was arrested for outstanding warrants.

He was charged with simple possession of heroin executed by Red Bank. The clerk clarified he broke probation from a past 2017 possession of heroin charge.

He also has a warrant from Hamilton County for theft of services under $1,000.

In a police report obtained from Chattanooga Police Department, a Bud’s Sports Bar server contacted police when Edwards allegedly drank and dashed on December 19.

“Edwards had ordered six Jack Daniels Whiskey drinks, totaling $36, and left without paying for them” the report read.

He was at the bar from 12pm to 4pm.

Edwards is currently being held on no bond. He has a court date in Hamilton County on February 4, 2019.

The trouble started when Edwards was issued a citation in March 2017 for simple possession of heroin. Police confiscated 14 hypodermic needles. One needle contained heroin.

He checked into rehab after his May 2017 wedding where he was filmed falling asleep at the wheel and slurring his words. He left treatment after 21 days instead of 30.

Then in March 2018, he was arrested for petition to revoke after failing a drug test in January 2018. He tested positive for opiates and morphine in a urine sample. He was arrested again in July 2018 for breaking probation from a past possession of heroin charge.

RadarOnline.com broke that he checked into rehab for a 90-day stint after a relapse. He checked out on Thanksgiving Day.

Edwards missed the October birth of his son Jagger with wife Mackenzie. He is also father to Bentley, 10, with ex Maci Bookout.
