‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Ryan Edwards Arrested For Possession Of Heroin & Theft

A three-month rehab stint hasn’t helped Ryan Edwards stay out of trouble. RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the Teen Mom OG dad has been arrested for theft and possession of heroin.

Hamilton County Jail in Tennessee confirmed Edwards, 31, was arrested on Wednesday, January 23 at 12:45am for theft of services under $1,000. He is being held on $500 bond.

The clerk confirmed he was also arrested on a possession of heroin charge out of Red Bank. According to the clerk, a warrant was likely out for his arrest in Red Bank at the time of his arrest. He is being held on no bond for the drug charge.

In his new mugshot, the father of two appears pale and bleary-eyed.

A Red Bank clerk confirmed his court date has been set for Monday, January 28. His Hamilton County court date is Wednesday, February 6.

Edwards has struggled with heroin abuse for years. As RadarOnline.com first reported, he completed a three-month rehab program for substance abuse on Thanksgiving Day after a relapse.

The MTV star was issued a citation in March 2017 for simple possession of heroin. Police confiscated 14 hypodermic needles. One needle contained heroin.

He checked into rehab after his May 2017 wedding, where he was infamously filmed falling asleep at the wheel and slurring his words. He left treatment after 21 days instead of 30.

Then in March 2018, he was arrested for petition to revoke after failing a drug test that January. He tested positive for opiates and morphine in a urine sample.

He was arrested again in July 2018 for breaking probation from a past possession of heroin charge.

He was sentenced in both cases.

Only weeks after his release from rehab, RadarOnline.com broke the news that the married star was busted on the hookup app Tinder. In the text messages verified by RadarOnline.com, Edwards sent dirty messages and penis photos to a woman.

The woman claimed to RadarOnline.com they had sex without a condom at her home.

He also asked the woman if she “f**ks with blow,” which is slang for cocaine.

Wife Mackenzie stood by him after the scandal.

He welcomed his first child with his wife, Jagger, in October. He is also father to Bentley with ex Maci Bookout.
