My 600-Lb Life star Chad Dean reached a shocking 701 pounds when he joined the weight-loss show. In his upcoming tell-all Memoir of a Food Addict: I’m in Here Somewhere, the deadly diet that ended with him weighing 701 pounds was revealed.

In the book, which was told to and written by Celeste Prater, it was explained how although he was active as a child, he had a “stream of food available to him,” as his fridge was always stocked.

When he turned 5 years old, he weighed between 80 and 90 pounds.

His weight gain continued, as a family friend would give him three candy bars a day.

“I remember my favorite food to eat was hot dogs with melted cheese,”Prater wrote of the meal he ate almost every day. “I would take three pieces of bread, place two slices of cheese on each, top it with a hot dog, and then microwave for about a minute and a half until the cheese melted ‘just right.’ Apply some mustard and a plateful of chips and I had a delicious banquet of happiness.”

Then when he was in the fifth grade, he turned to pizza.

“I wouldn’t savor just one slice,”Prater wrote in the book, which is available on January 15. “This teenager with the ‘I want it so therefore it shall be mine’ attitude ate the WHOLE pizza in one sitting. I’d even include additional toppings whenever I could. More hamburger, more cheese, you name it.”

But he didn’t have an entire pie for lunch or dinner, it would be the “in between” meal.

For lunch, he would buy from two to three helpings of school meals a day!

When dinner rolled around, there would be “fried meat, bread, and bowls of potatoes and vegetables” on the table.

By tenth grade, he weighed between 325 to 350 pounds. By the time he graduated high school, the scale read 400 pounds.

After working in catering, he obtained a job as a truck driver, which only hurt his chances of shedding pounds. He explained how he caught “Trucker Syndrome.”

“This condition consists of sitting on your a**, drinking sodas, downing energy drinks, eating potato chips, candy bars and whatever else you can grab,” the book read.

By the time he reached 550 pounds, he married his wife, who is a single mother to two children.

While on a job interview, he broke the stairs of the truck, forcing him to go on disability. This is what motivated him to get gastric bypass surgery and go under the care of Dr. Now.

After surgery and strict dieting, Dean weighed 280 pounds at the end of the book.
