UPDATE: Brown has denied the woman's rape claims. "I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR...... THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CRAP," he posted on Instagram. "FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!!"
Cocaine was discovered in the five-star Paris hotel suite where Chris Brown is said to have raped a 24-year-old woman he met in a nightclub, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
"A number of the suspects were carrying cocaine, which police found at the hotel after responding to a complaint," a police source told RadarOnline.com.
Brown, 29, remains in custody on Tuesday, January 22 at a central Paris police station on suspicion of carrying out the alleged sex attack along with his bodyguard and another male friend.
Prosecutors in the French capital confirmed Brown and the two others faced criminal charges related to the rape and illegal drugs.
"He is accused of a rape and is being held at the judicial police offices in the 1st arrondissement," a prosecution source told RadarOnline.com.
"He was arrested with two others on Monday, and interviews and other inquiries are ongoing. All three men can be held for a period of up to 48 hours."
Brown and his friends have hired lawyers, the source said.
The alleged victim said she met the men in the Crystal Lounge off the Champs Elysee one week ago. The celebrity nightclub is known for all-night parties that often rage until 6 am.

She and a girlfriend then returned to Brown's suite at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, where the sexual assault allegedly took place in the early hours of January 16.
"The woman said she was abused by Mr. Brown, a bodyguard, and a friend, and then she was left alone with the star," said another source in Paris.
Following the custody period, Paris prosecutors now have the option of releasing Brown and his associates, or opening a criminal investigation.
In 2009, Brown was charged with domestic violence in the United States against superstar singer Rihanna, his then-girlfriend. He pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to community service.
Model Liziane Gutierrez also claimed she was punched in the face by the father of one, but he was never charged with a crime.
In 2017, Billboard reported the star was abusing cocaine, molly, and "lean," a mixture of codeine syrup and promethazine. However, he denied having a drug problem.
