The Bachelor stars Arie Luyendyk Jr. and pregnant Lauren Burnham got married in Maui, Hawaii on Saturday, January 12. Race car driver Luyendyk Jr., 37, who ultimately chose Burnham, 27, his runner up on the reality show, to be his wife, kissed the expecting bride after the romantic ceremony.
She's pregnant with their first child, and did a great job covering up her baby bump! Us Weekly exclusively showed a photo taken by Matias Ezcurra of the newlyweds sharing a buss as their family and friends applaud.
Burnham carried a bouquet of white blooms for the wedding. She glowed in a sleeveless gown with delicate embellishments around the waist, perfect for minimizing her pregnant tummy, while her groom sported a black suit.
In 2017, Luyendyk Jr. appeared in the 22nd season of The Bachelor. He asked Rebecca "Becca" Kufrin to marry him at the season finale, but later romanced Burnham, his runner-up, in a scandalous love triangle.
Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham got engaged on March 6, 2018.
The couple's wedding location was Haiku Mill in Maui, where 100 guests, including the groom’s close friends Sean Lowe and his wife Catherine, who also married after meeting on The Bachelor, looked on. The ABC show's host, Chris Harrison, officiated the ceremony.
Luyendyk Jr. told The View in May that his wedding venue has a "beautiful, old-world feel, with a lot of vines and greenery," adding that "it’s not your typical beach wedding. It’s so pretty."
The Bachelor lovers flew to Hawaii a few days before their wedding to take a helicopter tour of the area and share a sunset cruise rehearsal dinner.
Us first reported that Burnham and Luyendyk Jr., who proposed to her during The Bachelor’s “After the Final Rose” special, are expecting a girl together. He currently works as a real estate broker in Scottsdale, Arizona.
