Sorry, Lisa Marie! Presley's Ex Michael Lockwood Engaged To Hairstylist Girlfriend

Lisa Marie Presley’s estranged husband Michael Lockwood is engaged to hairstylist Stephanie Hobgood, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
The 57-year-old musician, who split from Elvis’s daughter in 2016 after a decade-long marriage, is in the middle of a nasty custody battle over their 10-year-old twin daughters, Harper and Finley, and friends say Hobgood has been his rock since they got together in 2017.
Lockwood popped the question during a romantic meal at Italian restaurant Pache in Los Angeles' Laurel Canyon, and has since celebrated with family and friends who have supported him throughout his divorce.
“He never expected to find love at a time like this, but Stephanie has stood by him every step of the way and they are crazy about each other,” a source claimed.
“Michael is very traditional and wrote a letter to her father to ask for her hand in marriage. The family loves him, and gave their blessing."
He took his girlfriend on a date night and wrote a loving message on a place mat along with the words "Will you marry me?" before presenting it to his girlfriend, who was left lost for words.
“She sat there in silence for a while as he got down on one knee, she then realized he was serious and said yes,” the source continued.
“He presented her with his grandmother’s diamond ring from the 1950's, and they have already discussed the wedding details. They are so excited!"
“Michael just wants this nightmare with Lisa to be over and to get on with his life, he wishes she would meet someone else and do the same."
Lockwood first met Hobgood, 41, who works with a number of high-profile stars, through mutual friends in February 2017 while sleeping on their sofa. She was sympathetic of his situation, and their chemistry was “instant."
The couple were first pictured a few months later locking lips at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Los Angeles, after which they moved in together and started planning their future.

“Stephanie had just returned from Oregon where she lived for nine months and her friends wanted her to meet a good man,” a separate source said. “They were introduced and Michael cooked her a Mexican feast, it was clear from the beginning it was going to be a serious relationship.
“Some people advised her not to get involved with him, but she went with her gut and hasn’t regretted it for a second despite the obstacles they have faced."
“She has spent time with the girls and adores them, she is very understanding about the situation. It’s been hell for them both but they are a strong unit.”
“Everyone hopes Lisa will come to her senses and stop stalling over the divorce, they want her to finally let him go."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Presley and Lockwood have been locked in a nasty financial and custody battle since their split more than two years ago. On December 10, a judge ruled that the couple's daughters must undergo a mental health examination amid new allegations of abuse.
The pair will return to court in January.
