Teddy Geiger Gets Engaged To Emily Hampshire After Dating Just Months

"For You I Will" singer Teddy Geiger, who is transgender, just shared the happy news that she is engaged!
Geiger, 30, took to social media on Friday, November 9, to say that her girlfriend of just months, Schitt's Creek actress Emily Hampshire, 37, had popped the question.
It was only ten weeks ago that the two had publicly confirmed their relationship.
Along with Instagram photos of herself wearing a ring and apparently naked in bed with a pillow covering her chest, Geiger wrote about Hampshire, "I love this woman so much she treats me like a lil princess and makes me laugh harder than anyone. I am so f—ing happy to wake up next to her every morning and fall asleep next to her every night."
Then Geiger dropped the big news: "Which is why… When she asked me if I wanted to spend the rest of our lives together I said… YES … INFINITE YES."
Later, Geiger shared a close-up photo of her face with the engagement ring held up, writing, "My mom said I had to post another one of the ring cuz it's so pretty and she said earlier I made it look 'trashy' cuz I had my 'tongue stickin' out' so here is a super classy pic."

Geiger and Hampshire hit the red carpet together in September during the Toronto International Film Festival.
The pop singer/songwriter had debuted her transition back in May.
Geiger's relationship with the actress is the first public one since she began transitioning.
Geiger declared she was transgender in October 2017, after an Instagram fan asked about her appearance.
Geiger was previously a man.
She's told fans online, "Trans Rights Are Human Rights."
"I'm not carrying this weight around anymore," Geiger said to PEOPLE after coming out as trans.
Geiger has joined other famous transgender stars, such as Caitlyn Jenner.
And now, she will be planning a wedding to her lady love Hampshire!
