Bill Cosby may have been putting on a brave face for the cameras on Monday, but when he returned home later that night, he flew into a fit of rage, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
The shamed comedian, 81, retreated to his house just before 5:00 p.m. following the first of his two-day sentencing proceeding.
"He went ballistic!" an insider close to the former TV star told Radar. "Mr. Cosby has a habit of tapping the lawyer's leg with his cane if he isn't happy with something – he was furious that nobody said anything when he tapped their leg with his cane Monday!"
The convict told everyone to "stand back" before swinging his cane across the kitchen counter in a tantrum that was cut short when he missed the counter and almost went through the window, according to the insider.
"He had a drink of iced tea and then tried swinging it again," the source noted, confirming that the crazed comedian even shattered his precious wine glass collection.
One of the reasons Cosby was so furious was because he firmly believes that if his wife accompanies him to court, the judge will throw him behind bars.
"Mr. Cosby thinks that Mrs. Cosby's decision to report Judge O'Neill will actually land him in jail," the insider said. "It's up in the air whether or not she'll come Tuesday."
'This is serious' is the first thing Mr. Cosby said when he got home Monday," the insider revealed. "He wanted to go over the 'backup plan.'"
Once the felon realized that there was no backup plan, he shouted that "even the Kardashians have just enough common sense to have a backup plan," according to the well-placed insider.
Radar released exclusive photos of the felon entering his Pennsylvania mansion Monday evening — very possibly for the last time. In the photos, Cosby is seen with his tie undone, hollering at his camp as they enter through the kitchen.
According to the insider, this isn't the first time Cosby has busted out his martial arts skills with his cane.
"The cane is wrapped in duct tape because he swung it in his kitchen one night when he thought he heard a noise," the insider said. "He literally can't see much – he swung it around the kitchen until it snapped on the refrigerator."
As Radar readers know, prosecutors are now arguing that the disgraced icon should spend the rest of his days behind bars, though Judge O'Neill is the one who will determine Bill Cosby's fate on Tuesday.
