Tom Cruise is on a “Mission: Impossible” to get son Connor to quit his bad new vaping habit — or face a stint in Scientology detox!

Sources said 23-year-old Connor has embraced the tobacco alternative, regularly sucking on electronic cigarettes that boil liquid chemicals and inhaling the resulting vapor.

In an exclusive photo taken on July 23, RadarOnline.com caught Tom’s adopted son at a seedy vaping den before he took a break for pizza and returned to chase the vaping dragon.

“Tom thinks addiction in any form is weak,” an insider said. “He is encouraging Connor to make the most of Narconon to help him with his behavior.”

Although praised by Tom, Scientology’s Narconon has been denounced as quackery by mainstream medicine as it advocates cleansing a person’s body and spirit via grueling hours-long sauna sessions, high-dose “vitamin bombs” and guzzling vegetable oil.

Ex-member Steven Mango once told Radar: “I almost died on the program … It’s not safe!”

But Scientologist Kirstie Alley credits Narconon with helping her kick cocaine.

However, the source snitched: “Connor argues that loads of Scientologists smoke — so he should be left alone.”
