My 600-Lb Life star Lisa Fleming was winning her weight loss battle before her shocking death, her devastated daughter revealed exclusively to RadarOnline.com.
“Everybody is doing great,” Danielle Fleming told RadarOnline.com of her family. “She lost 200 pounds. The cause of death had nothing to do with her weight.”
Danielle then explained how the family is “not releasing the cause of death.”
RadarOnline.com was the first to break that Lisa passed away on August 23, 2018 in Houston, Texas at age 50.
Her daughter honored her mother with an emotional Facebook post.
“I am truly at a loss for words right now,” she wrote. “God knows I wanted you to hold on until I got here, but He knew what was best for me. I didn’t need to see you like that!”
She continued, “Anybody who knows me knows I gave my mother my ALL. She was my world and I was her #NumberOneGirl. Mommy, I love you from here to the stars and back! I’m happy you’re no longer in pain and stuck in that bed. Ya’ll pray for me, check on me, come see about me because I am not ok! I love my mama & I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worse enemy. Rest In Peace, Mother Arleasher M. Fleming!
Lisa reached out to Dr. Younan Nowzaradan when she hit 704 pounds.
After complaining about pain in her leg, her daughter checked and noticed she had maggots in the folds of her skin.
She lost 87 pounds while on a controlled diet at the hospital, but she had a difficult time following the strict diet and gained 29 pounds. She was kicked out of the program and never underwent weight loss surgery.
