The star died on August 24 at 1:50 am from an End-Stage Cerebrovascular Accident, or a stroke, a source exclusively told Radar.

As Radar previously reported, Leach’s son Steven announced his father’s tragic passing earlier today to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Everyone’s support and love over the past, almost one year, has been incredible and we are so grateful. Memorial arrangements to follow,” the grieving son said.

Leach was a close friend of Celine Dion and her late husband, Rene Angelil.

“Saddened to hear the news that Robin Leach has passed away,” the superstar tweeted today. “He was a thoughtful and considerate man, and a great supporter of the entertainment scene in Las Vegas.”
