EJ Johnson finally spoke out about best friend Lyric McHenry’s shocking death. And the only message he had for his fans was that there is nothing to say.

“I’m going to make this clear to everyone there will be no mourning post because I’m not going to reduce a 25yr friendship to 1 Instagram post,” EJ Johnson, 26, wrote in the comments section of his Instagram.

“Please respect my privacy and my process,” he continued.

RadarOnline.com readers know McHenry, 26, was found unconscious on a sidewalk in New York two weeks ago. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, but pronounced dead from a possible drug overdose moments later.

The tragedy came hours after she posted photos celebrating her 26th birthday with friends.

Before her sudden passing, the beauty starred in Johnson’s reality show, EJNYC, and previously made appearances in Refinery29’s YouTube series “Lingo With Lyric.”
