Lyric McHenry's Parents 'Desperate' To Bring Her Body Home To L.A. For Funeral

Two weeks after Lyric McHenry was found dead in the Bronx, the former reality star's body has yet to be released since the NYPD is still investigating her mysterious death.

Now RadarOnline.com has learned her mom and dad are growing "desperate" to bring their daughter back to Los Angeles so they can hold a funeral and say their final goodbyes.

"This is taking a toll on her parents," the McHenry family's spokesperson, Edna Sims, told RadarOnline.com. "They are both emotionally wrecked. The wait is agonizing. They're desperate to get their daughter home so they can have closure."

As RadarOnline.com reported, 26-year-old McHenry, who had appeared on the E! reality show EJNYC, was found dead Aug. 14 after she possibly overdosed during a night out celebrating her birthday.

McHenry was last seen getting into a white BMW with a mystery man, and police previously revealed the aspiring producer, who was later determined to have been 20-weeks pregnant when she died, was found unresponsive on a sidewalk in a desolate part of the Bronx wearing a top but no pants.
