Rapper XXXTentacion predicted his “tragic death” in a haunting video he released before he was gunned down and killed in Miami.
XXXTentacion died at age 20 as apparent drive-by shooters killed him on Monday, June 18, according to police.
“Worst thing comes to worse. I f**king die a tragic death or some sh*t and I’m not able to see out my dreams,” the 20-year-old, real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, said in a video he posted on social media.
“I at least want to know that the kids perceived my message and were able to make something of themselves. And able to take my message and turn it into something positive to at least have a good life," he noted.
"If I’m going to die or ever be a sacrifice I want to make sure that my life made at least 5 million kids happy or they found some sort of answers or resolve around my life,” XXXTentacion added in the video that now seems shocking after his tragic death.
He was beloved in the rap community and Kanye West tweeted about XXXTentacion’s death on Monday, “rest in peace I never told you how much you inspired me when you were here thank you for existing."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, XXXTentacion was shot outside RIVA Motorsports on Monday, June 18, 2018 shortly before 4 p.m. He was awaiting trial after allegedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend.
“Regardless of the negative around my life,” he said. “I don’t give a f**k. I know my goal in the end. I know what my message is. I just wanted to say I appreciate and love all of you and I believe in you all.”
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office said they were searching for ““two armed suspects” who they believe shot and killed rapper.
“At least one of the suspects fired a gun striking Onfroy,” the Broward County Sheriff’s Office said. “Both of the suspects fled in a dark-color SUV.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact BSO homicide detectives Walt Foster or John Curcio at (954) 321-4210 or Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at (954) 493-TIPS.
