Did Luis Know? ’90 Day Fiancé’s Molly Arrested For DUI & Drugs Before Sudden Divorce

Molly Hopkins and Luis Mendez divorced after less than a year of marriage. Could her shocking criminal history be to blame for their marriage breakdown? RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusive details on her DUI and drug possession arrests.
In court documents obtained from Cobb County Courthouse in Georgia, Hopkins, 42, was arrested for “unlawfully and knowingly possessing and having under her control less than one ounce of marijuana on January 13, 2008.
Hopkins pled nolo contendere, which means accepting conviction as though guilty without admitting guilt.
She was sentenced to 12 months in Cobb County Correctional Institute. She completed one day in jail. The remainder of her 11 month and 29-day sentence was suspended and to be completed on probation.
She was ordered to pay a $300 fine, attend a Risk Reduction Program, be evaluated and treated for alcohol and drug dependency, complete 40 hours of community service, and submit to drug testing.
Then on May 12, 2012, she was arrested and charged with four counts of driving under the influence.
She was pulled over when she touched/crossed lane markers. According to the court docs, her intoxication was evident by “the odor of an alcoholic beverage, bloodshot eyes and difficulty with divided attention evaluations.”
She was charged with one count unlawful alcohol content.
“Defendant did unlawfully and physically control a moving vehicle while her alcohol concentration was at least 0.08 grams or greater within three hours after such physical control ended, from alcohol consumed before such physical control ended,” the court papers read.
For the second count, she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol less safe.
She was also charged with failure to maintain lane and speeding on a “public street and highway of this State, at a speed of 83 miles per hour, in excess of the maximum lawful rate of speed upon said street and highway which was 65 miles per hour.”
She pled guilty to the DUI alcohol less safe count. She was sentenced to 12 months in Cobb County Jail. She served one day in jail. The remainder of her 11 months and 29 day sentence were to be served on probation.

She was ordered to attend a risk reduction program and victim impact panel, and complete 40 hours of community service. She was also ordered to not drink alcohol or take drugs without a prescription and submit to random drug testing. She had to pay a fine of $500.
Then on June 17, 2016, she was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol when she was stopped for speeding. She was held on a $4,012 bond.
In court papers obtained from Cherokee County in Georgia, her blood alcohol content measured .139 and then .146 four minutes later. A BAC of 0.08 is considered legally impaired.
She was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of speeding at 58 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour zone.
She pled guilty to the charges. She was sentenced to 24 months in jail. The sentence was served on probation. She was ordered to complete 240 hours of community service, and substance abuse and risk reduction programs.
Her probation was terminated on May 15, 2018.

She filed for divorce on January 9, 2018, only months after their July 20, 2017 wedding. The divorce was finalized on May 4, 2018.
