‘I Love Heather’: Locklear’s Ex-Fiancé Jack Wagner Talks Star’s Hospitalization

Heather Locklear’s ex-fiancé, Jack Wagner, is telling all on his thoughts since the star’s recent hospitalization.
“I just will stand by what I have said for a while and that is that we all have our struggles. We all do and some of us handle them in different ways. We either really work at getting well, you know, and it’s just about when you make that decision to do it,” the Melrose Place actor told ET of his former flame and costar.
Actress Josie Bissett—who worked for years with Locklear and still maintains a friendship with her—also voiced her sadness over the incident.
“It’s just sad. You know, it’s just heartbreaking,” Bissett, 47, said. “We just pray for her and hope she gets through this time.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Locklear, 56, was sent to the ER after a member of her family called 911 saying she was acting “erratic” and threatening to kill herself. The outburst came just weeks after the star left rehab following a battery arrest.
Sources claimed she went into a fit of rage after thinking her fiancé, Chris Heisser, had cheated on her, so she began looking for a gun to shoot herself with.
Locklear and Wagner, 58, were briefly engaged in 2011, after falling in love on the set of Melrose Place. They eventually called off their nuptials for the sake of their kids.
“I love Heather and I know Josie feels the same way, so nothing but loving thoughts and prayers for her and her family and her daughter, Ava,” Wagner told ET this week, adding that “time will tell” whether Locklear will recover after her recent meltdown.
