After a three-day hospitalization following a suicidal, rage-filled breakdown, Heather Locklear is back home, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.

However, the troubled actress’ fiancé Chris Heisser isn’t currently with her.

“Chris is giving her the space she needs,” the insider told RadarOnline.com. “But he will return soon.”

The separation could be the best decision for the couple, who as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, got into an explosive public fight two days before she was rushed to the hospital on June 17. (Cops were called to a parking lot near her Westlake Village, California home, but did not make any arrests.)

On Sunday, the 56-year-old mom became “violent” and threatened to shoot herself, cops claimed. A source told RadarOnline.com she also physically attacked her dad and mom, who called 911.

A law enforcement insider claimed she was placed under an involuntary 5150 medical hold after she proved to be a “threat” to herself and others.

Though she was not charged with a crime in last weekend's incident, Locklear will return to court for her February battery arrest in August.
