Nasty Feud: Demi Lovato At War With Her Rehab Center Amid Relapse Confession

Before she relapsed, sobriety spokesperson Demi Lovato was the face, voice and co-owner of CAST Recovery Centers in West Hollywood. But in recent months, every photo and mention of the superstar has been scrubbed from the popular substance abuse and mental health recovery facility’s website.

Now, RadarOnline.com can reveal the troubled singer is feuding with CAST Centers and its founder, her ex-friend Mike Bayer.

“They are in a bitter dispute over money and branding,” a source told RadarOnline.com, adding that Lovato’s contract demanded she stay sober in order to remain involved with the company.

According to the source, Lovato relapsed and was not honest about it with her partners at CAST. (She finally fessed up to relapsing after six years of sobriety in her new single “Sober” on June 21.)

She was told she had to leave the company, the source insisted, and she didn’t take the news well.

“She feels they owe her for CAST’s success,” the source said.

Now, “everyone is very hurt by her actions,” the insider continued. “But they also know that she is just sick right now. Addiction is not a choice, it is a disease.”

However, a second source close to Lovato insisted SHE was the one who ended the relationship with CAST and Bayer.

"Demi decided it was in the best interest of her sobriety and recovery if she was no longer was associated with CAST,” the source said, adding that Lovato believed some confidantes discussed her most recent relapse openly in Hollywood circles. “She feels betrayed.”

As RadarOnline.com reported, Lovato relapsed about two months ago after cutting ties with longtime sober friends.

According to an employee at LA's go-to recovery merchandise store, My 12 Step Store, Lovato often stopped in. But then she just stopped coming.

“They are worried about her," said a former store employee. "Of course she is welcome back anytime."

Meanwhile, Lovato seems to be struggling.

“Call me when it's over, ‘cause I'm dying inside,” she sings in her revealing new tune. “Wake me when the shakes are gone, and the cold sweats disappear. Call me when it's over. and myself has reappeared.”

Neither reps for Lovato nor CAST responded to RadarOnline.com's calls for comment.
