Desperate Move? Hillary Books Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato & More For Democratic Convention

Hillary Clinton has been known to have some wild parties with A-listers, but now the presumptive democratic nominee is packing the Democratic National Convention with as many celebs as she can! Guests for the July DNC in Philadelphia include athletes, musicians, and some of today's biggest TV and movie stars!

Lena Dunham announced her appearance at the DNC in a picture posted to America Ferrera's Instagram. Ferrera wrote, "Honored to announce that @lenadunham and I will be speaking together at the @demconvention in support of @hillaryclinton next week in Philly! #imwithher."

Demi Lovato tweeted her announcement on Wednesday writing, "I'm going to @DemConvention next week in Philly!!" and captioned over a gif of Clinton being cheered. 

Lenny Kravitz will be headlining the DNC concert in Philadelphia with other music superstars. Appearing with Clinton might get interesting for Kravitz, as the presidential candidate previously voiced more than just a musical interest in him. 

Lady Gaga is also set to perform at the DNC this month. The pop star had endorsed Clinton back in June, tweeting a provocative photo and writing, "This country could use a little rock n' roll."

Chloe Grace Moretz announced via Instagram her excitement about speaking on behalf of Clinton. "I am so happy to announce I will be speaking at the democratic national convention! #DNC #ImWithHer going to be such a beautiful historic day and I can't believe I have the immense honor of being part of it. Thank you @hillaryclinton," the actress wrote.

America Ferrera will appear alongside Dunham to demonstrate her support for the candidate later this month. She had previously written a passionate blog post for The Huffington Post called: "Why Hillary Clinton Thrills the Hell Out of Me."

Alicia Keys is another mega star set to perform at the event. Clinton has previously been associated with the musician, using the song "Empire State of Mind" as an anthem to welcome her back into New York for the primary in April.

Eva Longoria has been an avid supporter of Clinton and in addition to taking the DNC stage this month she has publicly voiced her support, saying on The View that Clinton was "the most qualified human running in this race."

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar tweeted he was "honored to be supporting @HillaryClinton @DemConvention in Philly next Thursday." The 7'2" The NBA Hall of Famer has been vocal about his political views, even penning an article in The Washington Post about why he wasn't voting for Donald Trump.

Tony Goldwyn may not be a real president, but he sure can play one on TV. On ABC's Scandal, Goldwyn portrays President Fitzgerald Grant, but in reality the actor will be appearing at the DNC to speak after telling Stephen Colbert he was a "surrogate" for Clinton.
