Jackson Odell died from a suspected heroin overdose, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

The 20-year-old former Goldbergs actor was staying at Stellar House in the San Fernando Valley when he passed away.

The investigation into his death is still on going.

Odell had performed for podcast Controlled Chaos just four days before his passing on Friday.

On Tuesday, he appeared with Josh Wolf, whose wife, Bethany Wolf directed Forever My Girl.

During the podcast, Odell seemed upbeat and said he's good friends with the Wolf family, and that he was 'lucky enough to help write the soundtrack' for the film.

Tragically, Odell also revealed that he just wrote a song for Shawn Mendes before performing a song titled 'Something Good' during the podcast.

Arrangements are still being made for his funeral.
