June 1 2018, Updated 9:52 a.m. ET
Talk show host Montel Williams was rushed to the hospital in New York City after realizing “something was terribly wrong,” and RadarOnline.com has exclusive details about the gym emergency.
“He was doing dumbbell squats in the gym, realized something was terribly wrong and we called 911,” Williams’ rep Jonathan Franks told RadarOnline.com.
The 61-year-old was hospitalized on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 and was still there on Thursday, but his rep told RadarOnline.com: “He will make a full recovery.”
“Anyone who knows Montel knows that he is an exercise enthusiast. Yesterday, he overdid it, and has been admitted to the hospital out of an abundance of caution. He is doing well and anticipates being discharged soon,” Franks told RadarOnline.com.
“In the coming days, as he always has, Montel will tell his story himself. Until then, we respectfully ask that his family’s privacy be respected. The Williams family will be forever grateful for the quick response from the NYFD and the excellent care he has received.”
