Keith Raniere, the leader of terrifying cult NXIVM, has been arrested by the FBI on sex trafficking and forced labor conspiracy charges, RadarOnline.com has learned.

According to reports, he made an initial court appearance in Fort Worth, Texas, and is now being transported to Brooklyn, New York for bail and preliminary hearings. (NXIVM is headquartered upstate in Albany.)

FBI agents found Raniere in a luxury Mexican villa, where he was reportedly hiding out following a New York Times expose about allegations he mistreated and sexually assaulted his female followers. A group of women reportedly followed officials in a car as he was taken into custody.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Dynasty actress Catherine Oxenberg has said her daughter India, 26, is part of Raniere's sick cult, where the women are allegedly branded with his initials.

"I'm trying to save my daughter's life," Oxenberg told RadarOnline.com in October .

She also said her daughter starved herself as part of Raniere's controlling ways.

Former Smallville star Allison Mack has also been named as a reported member of the cult, acting as a "recruiter."
