A&E halted production on a new home renovation show following the arrest of its star, Christopher Dionne, who turned himself into police on Monday for allegedly molesting a young girl.
Now, an insider close to Christopher exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com that his twin brother, Michael is still interested in filming the show without him.
“Michael is working with his manager to figure out a way he can continue working on it without Christopher,” the insider revealed.
Christopher once appeared on a pilot episode of HGTV’s Family Flip, however, the series was not picked up. The A&E series Christopher and Michael had began filming was titled House Rescue.
Christopher, a resident of Old Lyme, Connecticut, filmed the show with Michael, who is based in Los Angeles. The insider revealed the brothers already “shot a bunch of stuff” on both coasts.
According to the insider, Christopher’s twin is a wreck over the allegations.
“He loves his brother,” the insider told Radar. “His heart is broken.”
Christopher turned himself into police on Monday, Jan. 29 and was arrested on charges of fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
According to a report, the alleged sexual assault occurred when a 10-year-old girl was staying in Dionne’s house along with his two kids for a sleepover. As the girl slept on the couch, the married Family Flip star reportedly went over to her and asked if she wanted to touch and kiss his penis. He also took pictures of her chest and caressed her naked body and bum – twice.
After he was arrested, Dionne spoke of the incident saying that he did sit down next to the young victim on the couch when he was asleep, but he did not inappropriately touch her.
The TV star is currently being held on $100,000 bond.
