Adam Lind may have a criminal record of his own, but Chelsea Houska's baby daddy is surrounding his daughter around a friend who has been busted for serious charges. RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the Teen Mom 2 star's friend Justin Anderson has been arrested for assault, drug use, DUIs and other charges.

On March 20, 2012, Anderson, who has made multiple appearances on the show, was arrested and charged with two counts of simple assault.

"The defendant did commit the crime of simple assault by attempting to cause bodily injury to his ex-wife and having the actual ability to cause the injury," documents obtained from the Minnehaha County Courthouse alleged.

For the second charge, the documents alleged that Anderson "then and there did commit the crime by intentionally causing bodily injury to the victim, which did not result in serious bodily injury."

The two counts of simple assault were dismissed on August 17, 2012.

But the trouble didn't start there. Anderson was charged with one count of driving under the influence and one count of 0.08% or more alcohol by weight in the blood on February 2, 2005. No plea was entered at the time.

Then on May 19, 2007, Anderson was arrested for driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage two times in a ten-year period, court papers from the Yankton County Courthouse reveal.

He pled guilty to the count. He was sentenced to 30 days in the Yankton County Jail and his driver's license was revoked for one year with a work permit. He was ordered to pay $612 in fines.

The jail sentence was suspended.

On November 7, 2000, Anderson was charged with distribution of one pound or more of marijuana, aiding and abetting distribution of more than one ounce but less than one-half pound of marijuana, aiding and abetting distribution of more than one ounce but less than one-half pound of marijuana in a drug-free zone, aiding and abetting distribution of one pound or more of marijuana, aiding and abetting distribution of one pound or more of marijuana in a drug-free zone, and possession of one to ten pounds of marijuana.

Anderson initially pled not guilty to the offenses. He then pled guilty to aiding and abetting distribution of more than one ounce but less than one-half pound of marijuana, and aiding and abetting distribution of one pound or more of marijuana. The state dismissed the other counts.

He was sentenced to five years in the South Dakota State Penitentiary. The sentence was suspended on the condition he have no drug offenses for five years. He was ordered to reimburse Minnehaha County $1,750 for his court-appointed attorney fees.

Anderson has appeared on episodes of TM2 in recent seasons. He has even been filmed driving Lind and Houska's 7-year-old daughter to a roller skating rink.
