Like Jolie, Pitt cited irreconcilable differences.

On September 19, Jolie, 41, requested sole custody of their six children.

According to reports, Jolie filed for divorce after an alleged incident took place between Pitt, who was reportedly drinking at the time, and their eldest son Maddox on a private plane on September 14.

Last month, a temporary custody plan was put into place that allows Pitt to see his children under supervision only and to undergo voluntary drug and alcohol tests.

Jolie claimed in a statement that the divorce was done "for the health of the family."

But will Jolie reconsider her initial filing? A source exclusively told RadarOnline.com that the actress has declined Pitt's request for joint custody, as she plans to limit his time with their children to "monitored visitation."

According to the insider, Jolie will fight to win primary physical custody until her ex "gets his s**t together."
