Angelina Jolie sat down with FBI agents for four hours at her rented Los Angeles home on October 18, answering questions about the plane incident that changed her marriage — and her family — forever.

"The agents wanted a breakdown of everything that happened from when the plane took off to when it landed," an insider told Us Weekly. "They're looking into charges of assault."

Another source added that Jolie "fully cooperated" during the interview.

As Radar previously reported, soon-to-be ex-husband Brad Pitt allegedly became "verbally abusive" and "physical" with one of his children on the family's private plane — in front of Jolie and the other kids.

Reports suggest that Pitt was possibly intoxicated at the time.

The Los Angeles Police Department and L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services are also "investigating after someone anonymously reported the incident on the tarmac."

Pitt's camp adamantly denies any wrongdoing.

The FBI "will likely investigate for another few weeks," the insider claimed to Us, adding that, "they will then present the case to the prosecutor, who will evaluate whether they feel the need to bring charges against Brad."

"It could potentially be months," the source added.

Meanwhile, the former couple is selling their French estate Chateau Miraval this week, which "has been valued and is going on the market any day now," according to a source.
