RadarOnline.com has learned that Nicole Kidman saw the demise of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's marriage coming, telling friends it's karma for what they did to her friend, Jennifer Aniston!

The Oscar-winning Aussie, 49, famously passed on the 2005 project Mr. & Mrs. Smith with Pitt, due to scheduling issues. Her absence on the flick allowed 41-year-old Jolie to swoop in for the part — and Aniston's husband.

"Nicole has never been comfortable with her role in the history of 'Brangelina,'" an insider told RadarOnline.com.

"She's hates that her absence on the movie really changed her friend's life, especially since Jen could have trusted her not to seduce Brad."

"It's stomach churning to her that Angelina did exactly that when she got the role," continued the insider, adding that it "still hurts Nicole that Jen was so blindsided" over 52-year-old Pitt's betrayal.

"Nicole has stayed the hell away from Angelina ever since."
