Brad's Ex Rips 'Unhappy' Angelina: 'Those Kids Need Their Dad!'
Sept. 23 2016, Updated 5:46 p.m. ET
Despite child abuse claims, cheating allegations and a possible drinking problem, Brad Pitt's ex-girlfriend doesn't believe Angelina Jolie should receive full custody of their children. Elizabeth Daily exclusively told RadarOnline.com that Jolie's recent actions could be "detrimental" to their six kids.
Daily, who dated Pitt, 52, in the late '80s, doesn't think he is capable of becoming "verbally abusive" and "physical" towards one of his six children while on the family's private plane last week, as reports have claimed.
"He loves those kids so I don't really believe any of that stuff," Daily said. "When he was with Jennifer Aniston, I knew something was going to happen. He always wanted children, eventually it didn't work for that reason. Brad got what he wanted with Angie, which was a partner and someone to raise children with."
Daily even believes the child abuse claims, which RadarOnline.com confirmed is not being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department, could have come from Jolie's team.
"It's sad when people get negative and that's not fair to your children," she explained. "Usually people do that in the beginning of divorce. You go through a period when you're afraid, there is a threat that you're going to lose your children. It gets ugly."
Jolie, 41, shocked when she filed for full primary custody of Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Shiloh, 10, Zahara, 11, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8, leaving him with visitation.

"I don't understand it, I don't know why she would do that," Pitt's ex said. "I think to ask for full custody is a big thing to ask for. You don't want to take your kids away from your dad unless there is a serious problem or he's going through something like abusing himself in some way. You don't take your kids away."
Despite the divorce battle, Daily believes the couple will be able to work through their issues for the sake of their children.
"Hopefully they fix it and they work things out harmoniously," she said. "It could be detrimental to the children."
But the filing didn't come as a shock to Daily, as she recently told RadarOnline.com that she could sense the couple seemed off recently.
"Brad is a down to earth guy," she said. "The only thing off about Angie is she seems so unhappy. It seems there is an intensity. There is not a soft thing about her, there is something hardened about her. I see a brilliant, amazing mother, but when I look at her she doesn't seem happy."
