Amid bitter accusations and startling developments in Amber Heard's case against her allegedly abusive husband, Johnny Depp, RadarOnline.com has learned she will likely be filing a police report in the next couple days detailing her allegations of abuse.
A source reveals that while Heard "lost her nerve" and declined to speak to officers when they recently responded to the L.A.-area home she shares with Depp after a fight turned nasty, "she's now going to go through with it."
"Amber is working up the courage to do it," explained the source, who adds the 30-year-old actress "is being encouraged by friends to do it not only for herself but other women who are victims of domestic violence."
As RadarOnline.com reported, Heard shocked the world on May 27 when she came forward with claims her estranged famous husband was abusive and left a nasty bruise on her face after he allegedly throw an iPhone at her in a fit of drunken rage.
