The stork has arrived! Kelly Clarkson announced the birth of a son with husband Brandon this morning, naming him Remington Alexander Blackstock.

"Our little baby boy has arrived!!" she wrote on Twitter. "Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & we couldn't be happier or more in love!"

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Clarkson, who is also mother to daughter River, first announced her pregnancy in August during a show at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

After singing her ballad "Piece By Piece," American Idol's first-ever champion told the crowd of 20,000: "I was not planning on announcing this, but I'm totally pregnant."

During her first pregnancy, Clarkson experienced some unfortunate weight gain, as top docs — who have not treated the star — said she was "well over 200 pounds."

But the famed songstress wore her pregnancy weight with pride, slamming haters for criticizing her .

This time around, Clarkson stayed very active, even delivering a lively performance during American Idol's big finale show. However, sources told RadarOnline.com that she also had a feud backstage with country queen Carrie Underwood.
