The Brown family's worst nightmare has become a reality.

Alaskan Bush People patriarch Billy Brown, 63, and his second oldest son Josh "Bam Bam" Brown, 31, were sentenced to 30 days in jail as part of a plea deal relating to their infamous lying and stealing case, has learned.

According to the Alaskan Dispatch News, the father/son duo each pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of second-degree unsworn falsification in court last night for lying on government forms about their Alaskan residency.

The Discovery reality stars will also have to complete 40 hours of community service, and pay back a total of $9,130 in money they swiped from the state government. They also must cough up $12,000 in fines.

Billy and Josh were ordered to report to jail by April 15.

As exclusively reported from Alaskan District Court documents, the eccentric family, also including matriarch Ami, 52, and three other sons, were charged with a total of 60 counts of theft and unsworn falsification in 2014. Authorities accused the reality stars of pretending to live in Alaska so they could apply for thousands of dollars in dividend checks from the state.

Over a four-year span, the family took home $27,000 in unearned cash.

In reality, the family was reportedly living in Texas, Colorado, Washington and Arkansas— which shocked fans who were lead to believe they had lived in the Alaskan wilderness for many years.

In November, Billy and Josh presented a plea deal to the court, but it was promptly shut down by the judge.

The judge claimed the pair deserved jail time for their crimes.

In good news for the family, charges against Ami and the others were dropped as part of the deal.

Do you think Billy and Josh deserved jail time? Sound off in the comments.
